MG Magnette ZA/ZB 5 Speed Conversion Kit

We can now supply a 5 speed conversion kit for the MG ZA and ZB Magnette. The kit is based on Hi-Gear Engineering's well proven MGA 5 speed kit of which 900 have been sold and is for use with the Ford Type 9 Sierra gearbox.
 
The Kit Comprises:
 
1. Cast aluminium Bell Housing.
2. Clutch release lever pivot and bolt.
3. Gasket, Bell Housing to gearbox.
4. Extended Spigot bush.
5. Rear rubber gearbox mounting.
6. Cross member spacers (2).
7. Gear lever assembly.		 8. Clutch plate (driven).
9. New propshaft assembly.
10. Speedo cable and circlip.
11. All bolts and fasteners.
12. Loctite (2 types).
13. Detailed fitting instructions.
 
The Magnette clutch slave cylinder is re-mounted on the MGA 1600 bell housing and the hydraulics moved. The MGA clutch lever is used (we can supply).

With sufficient demand a bell housing with a top mounted clutch slave cylinder will be produced.

All types of 'B' Series engine can be accommodated. We need to know exact engine specification to supply correct kit. The vehicle speedometer will need re-calibrating. Instructions on how and where to get this work carried out are supplied with the kit.
